WHAT ARE BOMBA BALLS?
Bomba Balls are batting practice balls, plain and simple. They are soft, durable, and meant to be used indoors or outdoors, rain or shine. Bomba Balls will not get water logged, so you can use them in damp conditions. If you are the batting practice pitcher, Bomba Balls do not inflict near the sting of a baseball or wiffle ball, in the event you get hit with a batted ball.
HOW BIG AREÂ BOMBA BALLS?
Bomba Balls are 6.3cm in circumference. They are about 2/3 the size of a standard baseball.
WHAT ARE BOMBA BALLS MADE OF?
Bomba balls are made from safe, non-toxic polyurethane foam. They can be easily squeezed, and they are meant to last. Bomba Balls can be used much longer than the typical leather baseball, commonly used for batting practice.
WHY TRAIN WITH SMALLER BALLS?
Studies have shown that small-ball training improves hand-eye coordination and pitch-tracking. Imagine for a minute - you train with the smaller Bomba Ball, and then on gameday the incoming pitch looks like a beach ball!
DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER PRODUCTS?
Right now, our main product is the batting practice Bomba Ball and the buckets (large and small) to hold your Bomba Balls. HOW CAN I USE BOMBA BALLS?
Bomba Balls are perfect for all types of training. Tee work, soft toss, front toss, standard batting practice - you name it! Bomba Balls were created to be a durable, versatile training tool. They are perfect for the little ones just starting out, and even the higher-level player looking for reps. Bomba Balls will tell you whether you hit the ball correctly - they will dive into the ground if you hit it with top-spin, they will carry if you hit it perfectly and create backspin. The maximum distance we have seen a Bomba Ball travel is about 150 feet.
